Vulcan Fun Day

Sunday, January 26, 2025

Vulcan Fun Day is a big day at Vulcan Snow Park! The newly anointed Vulcan Krewe and Royal Family visit Vulcan Snow Park, handing out their trinkets and bringing smiles to all. The Vulcan organization provides FREE fire truck rides to all visitors. Bring your friends and family to play in the snow!

Schedule

This schedule is tentative and subject to change.

Sunday, January 26, 2025
  • People’s Choice sculpture voting – 10:30 am to 12:30 pm**
Have a favorite snow sculpture? This is the day to nominate that sculpture for an award! All visitors are encouraged to enter their vote for the Minnesota State Snow Sculpting Competition’s People’s Choice Award.
  • Kids’ snow treasure hunt – 11 am to 3 pm*
If they’re old enough to walk, kids can participate. Each kid is provided with a beach pail and shovel and turned loose to dig for treasure in a supervised snow area. The prizes are continually refreshed and range from candy and coins to small toys. The treasure hunt goes on until we run out of prizes.
  • Sculpture awards presentation – 1 pm to 1:30 pm**
Find out which teams will take home awards from the Minnesota State Snow Sculpting Competition.
*Weather permitting. If conditions are dangerously cold or very inclement, activities may be curtailed or canceled.
**These times may change. Stay tuned!
