​2025 Schedule

Vulcan Snow Park 2025 takes place January 24 through February 2 and is generally open for visitors from 9 am to 9 pm weekends and 4 pm to 9 pm weeknights. Specific event and activity schedules vary by day.

Our schedule may change unexpectedly due to weather or other elements beyond our control. Follow Vulcan Snow Park on Facebook to get announcements about unplanned closures or schedule changes.

This schedule is tentative and subject to change. Watch here for schedule details as they are added and updated.

The Snow Park grounds are unplowed and almost always very, very slippery with compacted snow and ice. Please wear high-traction footgear and walk very, very carefully!

Saturday, January 25, 2025

• 8 am to 4 pm – Small-Block Snow Sculpting Contest
• 8 am to 9 pm – Minnesota State Snow Sculpting Competition (Day 2)
• 9 am to 9 pm – Snow Sculpture Viewing (of sculptures in progress)
• 9 am to 9 pm – Snow Maze
• 4:45 pm – Small-Block Snow Sculpting Contest awards presentation

Sunday, January 26, 2025

• 8 am to 12 pm – Minnesota State Snow Sculpting Competition (Day 3)
• 9 am to 9 pm – Snow Sculpture Viewing (finished sculptures after 12 pm)
• 9 am to 9 pm – Snow Maze
• 10:30 am to 12:30 pm – Minnesota State Snow Sculpting Competition People’s Choice voting
• 11 am to 3 pm** – Kids’ snow treasure hunt
• 1 pm – Minnesota State Snow Sculpting Competition awards presentation
